He has 14 years’ experience in global Pricing and Reimbursement management consultancy, at a major medicines and medical devices manufacturer, and in senior management in health policy and public health at two United Kingdom National Health Service regional Payers responsible for the reimbursement of medicines and medical technology; 10 years’ experience in global Market Access and Health Technology Assessment in management consultancy and at a major medicines and medical devices manufacturer, 2 years’ experience in global Competitive Intelligence management consultancy, and 8 years’ experience in Strategy management consultancy. In total, Mr Hester has 21 years’ experience in the global medicines and medical technology industries gained with a major manufacturer, in competitive and market intelligence; management consultancy, market research, conference and internet content management (medical education); and at the UK Medicines Control Agency (now the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
